We're Here!

Just wanted to write a quick note to say that we are all alive here in Amsterdam. All of the traveling went extremely smoothly, which is awesome (and unusual). It's a huge answer to prayer that we have had virtually no problems from planes, to baggage, to where to find food, to finding the hostel--oh wait. Heather and I wandered around the city for an hour and a half and then finally found it. :) But it was no big deal and we are all here now.

We are here for tomorrow and then we all head to our separate places on Sunday.
Thanks for your prayers!

Snail Mail Addresses

Hey Everyone,
So I'm leaving today for Europe! Ahhh! I'd love to hear from you all and email is a great way to do that. I also do love snail mail and care packages! :)

I can receive mail in the middle of the summer while I'm in Mittersill, Austria, for the retreat with the rest of the YHMers. I will get there June 30th. Please make sure mail arrives there before June 30. Here is the address:

Sarah Andersen / Wheaton College
The Registrar
Schloss Mittersill Study Centre
A-5370 Mittersill
AUSTRIA

Lastly, here's the address of the Norway hostel. I will be there from July 5-28 (with a quick visit to Como, Italy in the middle). Here is the address:

Sarah Andersen
Intermission Summer Lodging/NKSS
Kalfarveien 8
5018 Bergen, Norway

Grad party...

After graduation on Sunday, we had a party at Beth and my apartment. It was really fun to hang out with Paul and Jenn, Eric and Krista, kids, a few of my friends, and their families. We ate some really good food (thanks Mom!), hung out, and some people played a pretty intense game of Twister.

Miscellaneous Pictures

Our last Saturday breakfast :(

We went bowling on Monday night ($1 bowling!) and Colson and I were just being weird

Guitar Hero has taken over our lives--well, not mine so much but it is really fun

Study day on the beach!

On Monday, Beth and I went downtown and hung out/pretended to study on the beach in Chicago. We also walked through this little park that was gorgeous. It was really fun, but bittersweet because it's probably the last time Beth and I will hang out this year. So sad...

Office of Christian Outreach Banquet

On Friday night, we had a banquet for all of the ministries in the OCO. It was a really fun ending to the year in the OCO (and an end to my being involved there for 2 1/2 years!). Each cabinet had a video or a skit that we did. We had fun performing a skit where we depicted a YHM trip that had 4 of the staff members as the travelers. Despite being extremely unrehearsed, it ended up being pretty funny.
